Recently, I started using Synergie MineralWhip with Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
Starting from July last year, maybe due to the stress with work, lack of sleep and low emotion, a number of pimples grew up on 2 sides of my face. I don’t like pimples! Since I started using Synergie since 2010, the problem of pimple doesn’t bother me much comparing with the past.
Of course I tried to use many new masks – they work and help me a lot.
But, Synergie has fostered me into a skincare perfectionist. I can’t accept myself to wear any pimples or pigments on my face. So I decided to move from Mineral Crush Powder to Synergie Minerals MineralWhip.

The texture is more misted so it will be good for dry season. If you have been using Synergie Mineral Crush Mineral Power, you may find it hard to accept since it is not as natural as Mineral Crush – MineralWhip does provide the coverage for my pimples. I will use it until my pimples are gone.
If you can afford, of course use foundation maxibrush by Synergie. It is very soft. But to me, I think it is quite expensive as I am planning to use it for the season. So I searched online and found a good brush for my Synergie MineralWhip Foundation Cream – Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
When I touch the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush – you can feel the bristle is not as soft Synergie Foundation Maxibrush. Given the price & performance, it offers great high quality, dense and soft bristles. Even though I am a big fans for Synergie, the huge price difference (Synergie: HKD320 vs Real Techniques: 70) drives me to vote for Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
If you are new to use Synergie Mineral Whip or only want to use it for the dry season, I would recommend you to try Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Just be mindful, I suggest buying along Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel for maintaining your bristle at good condition. When I started using the bristle for 3 weeks without cleaning, the foundation became quite thick on my face and not as easy to blend. After cleaning, the bristle becomes good to use again! Again, same as brand as Real Techniques, Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel, is definitely a bargain for only HKD 70 on iHerb.
